Scleratherapy

Scleratherapy is the injection of the unwanted spider veins with a sclerosing solution. It’s simple and it can be done in the office. It causes immediate shrink of the spider veins, which then dissolve over a period of weeks as the body naturally absorbs the treated veins. The downtime is minimal; the patient’s leg is compressed with wraps or stockings for 24 hours. Most of the patients require at least 2 treatment sessions separated by 4 weeks. The response to the treatment varies from patient to patient depending to the sizes of the veins.
