Labiaplasty

A labiaplasty is a safe, quick, effective procedure designed to treat redundant labia (the inner lips of the vagina). This problem can exist in women who have not had children but also can be exacerbated by childbirth. The redundant labia can cause pain with walking, bike riding, exercising, and sexual intercourse. Labiaplasty can reduce this redundancy, relieving the symptoms and improving the appearance of the vagina. This procedure is an outpatient procedure done in our surgery center under local anesthesia with IV sedation.
